Introduction of Philosophy of science
INTRODUCTION OF PHILOSOPHY OF SCIENCE
The word philosophy is derived from the Greek words philia (love) and sophia (wisdom) and means "the love of wisdom". And also philosophy is the study of general and fundamental problems, such as those connected with existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind, and language. Philosophy is rational attempt to formulate understand, and answer fundamental questions.
Philosophical way
Nowadays We often think of philosophy as something esoteric and impractical. However, it doesn't have to be that way. Thinking like philosopher doesn't mean asking never ending questions or setting up intellectual traps.
Branches of philosophy
Western philosophy can be divided into six branches that have assumed various importance over time.Traditionally metaphysics sets the questions for philosophy.Epistemology asks how do we know? Ethics and politics have to do with action quality of life.Aestheticsvor value theory has to do with beauty, balance, and harmony. Logic has to do with the relations of things.Epistemology sometimes replaces metaphysics these days, because it has fewer religious overtones.
Metaphysics
Metaphysics is the branch of philosophy that considers the physical universe and the nature of ultimate reality.
Epistemology
Epistemology is the branch of philosophy that considers how people come to learn what they know. These influence how teaching, learning, and understanding come about in the classroom.
Axiology
Axiology is the branch of philosophy that considers the study of principles and values. These values are divided into two main kinds. They are ethics and aesthetics.
Logic
Logic is the branch of philosophy that seeks to organize reasoning. Students of logic learn how to think in a structurally sound manner. Logic has two types. They are deductive and inductive reasoning.
Not only that in addition to above,it is further classified into several. They are philosophy of education, philosophy of history, philosophy of language, philosophy of law, philosophy of mind, philosophy of politics, philosophy science and so on.
Philosophical methods
Philosophical method is the study of how to do philosophy.A common view among philosophers is that philosophy is distinguished by the ways that philosophers follow in addressing philosophical questions.Science is an enormously successful human enterprise. The study scientific method is the attempt to discern the activities by which that success in achieved. Among the activities often identified as characteristics of science are systematic observation and experimentation, inductive and deductive reasoning, and the formation and testing of hypotheses and theories. I classify philosophy of science methods into four methods. They are questioning, critical discussion, rational argument, systematic presentation.
Philosophical school of thought
Education is practical in natural and philosophy is theory.Philosophy is the study of the realities, the pursuit of wisdom. The art of education can not be completed without philosophy and philosophy can not convert others to its aims and values without education. The educator, who has to deal with the real facts of life.
Idealism
Idealism is a philosophical approach that has as its central tenet that ideas are the only true reality, the only thing worth knowing. In a search for truth, beauty, and justice that is enduring and everlasting, the focus is on conscious reasoning in the mind.
Realism
Realists believe that reality exists independent of the human mind. The ultimate reality is the world of physical objects. The focus is on the body/objects. Truth is objective-what can be observed.
Pragmatism
For pragmatists, only those things that are experienced or observed are real. For Pragmatists, teaching methods focus on hands-on problem solving, experimenting, and projects, often having students work in groups.
Existentialism
The nature of reality for Existentialists is subjective, and lies within the individual. The physical world has no inherent meaning outside of human existence. Individual choice and individual standards rather than external standards are central.
Finally
This is the introduction of the science of well-being to philosophy of science and an explanation of how the disciplines can benefit each other.I think this is an essential subject that everyone should learn and also a subject chat that analyzes issues with unquenchable desires.
